2025 Beta Feature - Lesson Videos

We’re excited to share that Simplify Writing® is piloting a brand-new feature: lesson videos for grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. These videos are designed to support both teachers and students, and new videos will be released each month as we continue to expand this offering. Look for the video icon next to the unit.

During this transition, you may notice that some units appear different. For example:

• Some units follow our original format with a teacher manual and student pages only.

• Others may appear to have more content, including an additional page for each lesson video.

Please rest assured—all the necessary teaching resources are still included, regardless of which format you see. There’s no need for concern.

These new lesson videos are completely optional. They’re here to help in two ways:

• You can watch them yourself as a quick refresher or model before teaching.

• Or you can play them directly for students as part of your lesson delivery.
