For students to grow as writers, they need consistent instruction and the opportunity to apply what they've learned in their own writing. This means that your school needs a 30-45 minute writing block either daily, or at minimum, three times a week. 

All professional development is self-paced and online for your convenience. You can access the 50 minute onboarding session here for use during professional development. We highly recommend providing around six planning hours for teachers to complete the Success With Simplify Writing® course inside their dashboards and begin to prepare their diagnostic pre-assessment and first unit. This is a graduate level course that is included with every school license. We provide a certificate once they submit their course reflection. Many schools collect certificates in order to ensure all teachers take the course.

If you have a teacher with an account that cannot log in, please advise them to use the Forgot Password link at the bottom of the login page to set a new password. The link will expire two hours from the time of the request. 

It's imperative that your special and general education teachers work together. Most special education teachers use the Simplify Writing® intervention and spelling libraries to help support their students. Many often push into classrooms to work with them during student writing time or have students bring their writing pieces with them when they receive their services. Please have your staff meet to discuss how to coordinate support for your writers with learning differences.

Licenses are per teacher. You can view the current license assignments on your school spreadsheet. Please contact us if you need to access the spreadsheet. 

Please contact us. Include your school's name, the total number of additional licenses you need, and which grade level(s) they will be used for. If you do not have any open licenses, we will send you a quote for the additional licenses. We prorate the cost of licenses added mid-year so that all licenses expire at the same time. 

Licenses run on the school calendar, from July 1st to June 30th. If you purchased multi-year licenses, contact us to find out when your licenses will be up for renewal. 

We typically send out renewal quotes in early Spring. At that time, you'll have the option to renew early, adding additional licenses as needed. Renewal commitments must be in by June 30th in order for licenses to stay active.
